Еще раз о кодировках!

Я все устанавливаю не Денвер-3, установил также Perl и все сопутствующие модули. Инсталяция в браузере началась, вывелось сообщение что все необъходимы модули найдены, после этого кликаю "продолжить" и мне выдается ошибка - Произошла ошибка
close Недопустимый запрос: неверный символ для кодировки UTF-8
Зашел в phpMy admin, создал бд, поменял у нее кодировку на UTF-8-general-ci, во всей базе и отдельных таблицах, к тому же добавил нужный текст в .htaccess. Не работает!
